A Bit About Me

Always had an interest in creating anything. From planting a tree, starting a lemonade stand, organizing groups and clubs, to cooking meals and building homes and businesses. I refer to myself as an artist, and a modern day renaissance man. I look at life as our greatest work of art. One where every move we make, word we speak, and motion is an expression. We can curate our life with a fine tipped pen or broad brush stroke.

 

I've chosen to pursue my endless curiosity for the world trying to learn as much as I can in this short amount of time we have on earth. In addition to being a Chef, I was a hairstylist for 2 years on Newbury St. in Boston, Ma. Ive done landscaping, construction and house painting. I was a real estate agent in Boston prior to opening my restaurant, and am still a licensed agent in Massachusetts.

 

I speak French and conversational Spanish, and an intuition for understanding foreign speakers having grown up with non-English speaking family. I've had the unbelievable opportunity to travel the world as a young person. I lived and worked in Paris, France for 1 year attending a French language immersion program, and working with a student work abroad program at different employers while living abroad including an internet cafe on the Jardin du Luxembourg and assisting French fashion photographer and hairstylist, Adel Awad. In addition to France i've traveled to: Taiwan, Germany, Spain, England, Iceland, Kenya, Tanzania, Colombia, Costa Rica among others.

I currently live in Grantham, NH with my wife Michelle and two kids Jackson and Jade. I took over a vintage furniture/ housewares store in West Lebanon, called Consign and Design which is a 3 floor historic building in downtown "Old West Leb" where we sell MCM furniture, original artwork, architectural salvage, retro gaming and vinyl, as well as a large vintage clothing section. My Wife Michelle now primarily runs the front of the house at the shop, and I am usually on the road procuring the "treasures," from old barns, attics and basement all across New England,  or furniture refurbishing behind the scenes at home.

 

Our Son Jackson was born with Charge syndrome a genetic condition which leads to many varied health and physical issues throughout life with the most common shared traits among "Chargers" being Deafness and Blindness. Jackson's care is a big part of our lives and we are big supporters of the Charge Syndrome Foundation, and Perkins School for The Blind. My wife Michelle and I eagerly support these organizations and have and will continue to lead fundraisers on their behalf. Our daughter Jade is full of energy and enthusiasm for Unicorns and Mermaids mostly loves to assist Dad in the kitchen and hopes to become a professional Dancer/ Singer in the future.

In my leisure time I continue to pursue my endless curiosity trying to learn new things everyday and find new challenges and adventures. I grew up playing every sport I could, and continue to play Soccer, Tennis, Golf and Ski enjoying the easy access to outdoors living in the NH Mountains provides. I cant live without art integrated into every aspect of my life. From music to TV, film, museums, and amazing natural beauty everywhere I continue to take it all in.  Awaken all of your senses!
